Where do I pay my parking ticket?
If you received a Manor Township Parking Ticket, you can either pay by mail, or drop it off at the Manor Township Police Department, 950 West Fairway Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603 Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where do I pay for my citation?
Violations occurring in Manor Township must be paid at the District Justice’s Office, phone # 872-4361, located at 841 Stehman Road, Millersville, PA 17551.

What is the law concerning car seat use?
All drivers transporting children from birth to age 4 are responsible to restrain children in an approved child passenger restraint system anywhere in the commonwealth. Drivers transporting children from age 4 to 8 years are responsible to restrain those children in a seat belt system and appropriate child booster seat.

Will you collect my leaves twice per week?

No. While many neighboring municipalities only service developments a few times per season, Manor Township is commmitted to cover our routes one time each week.

What day will you be in our area?

We start two crews in different locations. At the end of each collection day we will post on our website the areas not yet services.

Will this be your last week?

Historically the last week of leaf collection is the first week of December. As the season concludes we will post this information on the web.

Do you know the tarp on your truck is not fastened down?

Yes. Leaves are collected by a vacuum unit. To pick up leaves air must blow through the entire unit. To achieve maximum suction the driver must open his tarp.

What is the best way for residents to prepare their leaves for collection?

Leaves that are piled in a long narrow row allows the leave to be collected at a faster pace. Large mounded piles require much more time and effort to load.

Why didn't you take all my leaves?

Leaves are some times left behind for a number of reasons. If likes contain branches, brush or grass clippings crews will not collect them due to the clogging of the vacuum. Leaves obstructed by parked cars are also not collected.

Do I need a permit for a fence?

No. But there are height restrictions - 6’ in side and rear, 3’ in front. And it cannot be placed in the right of way.

Recreation

Can I hire any trash hauler?

No. They must be licensed within the township. See our list of haulers on the web.

What should I do if I witness my hauler mixing recycling material with trash?

Contact the township office.

Tax Collection

Can I pay my taxes with a credit card or online?

At this time, no.

Can I pay my school taxes at the township office?

We do not collect any school taxes. You must contact the school district for this information

I don't have a spouse, can you lower my taxes?

Your county and Township taxes are calculated on the assessed value of your property not the number of people at the property.
