CRIME ALERT – 13 – 19 January 2012

·         Access Device Fraud: On Mon 13 Jan 2012 a 62 year old Township woman from the 200 block of Oakfield Ct reported to Officer Steve Snyder that she has found out that there were two unauthorized purchases made using her Wells Fargo bank card. The purchases totaled about $200.00

 

·         Criminal Mischief: On Mon 16 Jan 2012 a 44 year old resident from the 100 block of Armstrong Lane reported to Officer Steve Snyder that sometime overnight someone had painted various symbols and words on two vehicles at his residence. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Officer Snyder @ 299-5231.

 

·         Access Device Fraud: On Tue 17 Jan 2012 a 74 year old Township woman from the 2000 block of Stonemill Road reported to Officer Mark Burkholder that she has found an unauthorized transaction on her Belco Visa card. The purchase was made to a company in Nevada for about $10.00.

 

·         Burglary Investigation: The resident at 103 Nicholas Road reported to police that upon arriving home on Wed 18 Jan 2012 they found that someone had broken out the kitchen window to the residence. It is believed that this happened sometime during the daytime hours on 18 Jan. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call Officer Mark Burkholder @ 299-5231.

 

·         Harassment: Officer Tom Moser has cited two people as the result of a Domestic situation that escalated to the point of being physical. At about 1900 hrs on Tue 27 Jan 2012 police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Stonemill Road (Stonemill Station Apts.) for a domestic situation. As a result Officer Moser issued Harassment citations to Shanda Mavity F/26 & David Mavity M/39 who lived at the apartments.

 

·         Simple Assault: Shortly after midnight on Wed 18 Jan 2012 police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Pheasant Ridge Circle for a Domestic situation between a 35 year old man and woman. As a result Officer Matt Wolf has charged Andy Shenigo, M/35, of that address for Simple Assault and Harassment for attempting to choke the woman. He was taken into custody at the scene and later arraigned at the City Police Station at Central Booking. He was later released on unsecured bail. After being taken into custody Shenigo started to kick the inside of the police cruiser door, but did not cause any damage. 

 

·         DISORDERLY CONDUCT:  ON THURSDAY 19 JANUARY 2012 AT 11:34 P.M.; RHIANNON L. ENCK, M/18, WAS ISSUED A CITATION FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT BY OFFICER RANDY HERMAN AS A RESULT OF A DISTURBANCE WHICH OCCURRED IN THE 200 BLOCK OF WALNUT HILL ROAD ON THURSDAY 19 JANUARY 2012 AT 7:50 P.M.
